hey cliff,

yes i do love that show, April 12, 1970 -- wow, spring 1970 the beginning of teh amazing run of acoustic gigs with the new riders and electric dead sets, and acoustic dead sets, and half acoustic sets -- what a ripper of a time those shows musta been -- read the reviews, apparently mr HUNT was there, does he post on the forum pages?

anyway, i started looking at what i had from this spring 70 period and the enticing looking run at the family dog is missing from my collection, and NONE available on the archive either...(?)..... do these shows circulate? 4/17-19/70????

but, the fillmore east run is well documented.... have you checked out COWBOY SONG from the April, 9 FIllmore East show?

hear it!.... it was a weird time!

This isn't a poll, nor a question I could answer if I searched hard and long (I think?), but I am curious HeLives: what time period do you live in with the Dead?

Hmmm, not much from April in mine either...May and June make up for it I suppose.

hi will,

not sure what you mean by "live in".... but in general, i rarely listen to anything past '81 -- i could see myself possibly getting into more later era stuff -- the only shows i got to were '88 - 91 (and i went to high gate in '94 i think -- musically it was a very sad show....)

at different times almost every day i listen to something from 68-74, and something from 76-79.... really just bouncing around w/o much rhyme or reason!

Cool; was thinking you were an "early era Dead End Kid" but wasn't entirely sure...looks like you are well rooted in the good times, with some occas trips to the 70s...can't really hold that against you. Not that I would.
